The mission of the Education Service Center Region 2 English Learner Department is to support and promote English Learner attainment of academic success and full proficiency in English through equitable and instructional best practices founded upon second language acquisition for all TEA-approved-program models. All professional development incorporates best practices aligned to state academic and language development expectations for both teacher and student success.

Services include:

• Onsite professional development

• Custom designed trainings

• Instructional coaching

• Classroom observations and feedback

• Data analysis

• Data-driven interventions

• TEKS/ELPS alignment support

• Technical assistance includes unlimited email and phone support
